Summer fun with friends!

I love summer time as we all get to play outside.  We have wonderful neighbors who love to come play with our kids.  They are a lot of fun and a big help.  These pictures are from 2 days in a row.  The first day is where we played with water balloons and the second day is my kids and Colton playing in the sprinkler.

Bowling

Ayden was asking to go bowling, and since it's been almost a year I thought it would be fun to try it out again.  We used the ball ramp again as the kids aren't strong enough to roll the bowling balls yet.  I was impressed that Ayden AND Avery carried their own ball to the ramp and pushed it down.  Towards the end of the game I asked Ayden if he wanted to roll the ball down without the ramp.  He did it and so did Avery!  My friend Susan brought her son Colton along.  This was his first time bowling.  I love fun outings with my children!

That tongue is always out when he's concentrating

This is her newest "pose" when she's thinking or concentrating.  She puts her right hand up against the side of her head :)

VBS

I love this time of year and the kids have looked forward to returning to VBS since the last year.  Avery wasn't able to be in a class, but he was able to be in the 2 year old group which was for workers only.  Tory and I worked there and had so much fun watching the kids enjoy themselves.  Tory worked in security and I helped lead the 3 and 4 year olds in sing time.  Here are some photos from the week.  What a great time!

Can you believe she is older than him? :)

Mom! What are you doing out here?

SO excited

Ayden and the friends from his class.  He didn't know I was out there, and it was so much fun seeing him play with these boys.

Still playing chase with his friends

At the end of each day all classes join together in the sanctuary to sing and see how much their offering raised.  This year they were helping pay for VBS programs in Poland.

Ayden was constantly playing with his name tag.

This is the room where I helped lead sing time

The older girl is Erin.  She looks so much like Alyssa.

Here is another picture of all the kids during the closing.  It's great to hear all of the kids sing together.
