Fun with friends

We have wonderful neighbors whom our kids love to play with.  Here is Lilly and Brenna playing with Avery.  He loves them, can't ya tell!?

Easter with the Weinerts

Mark and his family were here visiting, so we all headed over to Papa's house to have our Easter gathering.  It was a nice day outside, so we had the kids have a seat in the grass while Grandma and Papa handed out their Easter "bags".  Each bag was personalized for each kid.  Alyssa had Elmo on hers, Ayden had a basketball on his, Avery had bunnies on his.  Before the bags were handed out, we had all the kids cover their eyes.  To my surprise, each kid covered their eyes.  I'm glad I had the camera out and ready as I was cracking up at watching them try to peak.  Even little Avery who had no idea what was going on covered his eyes (even if he was a little behind the others).  It was a lot of fun to watch the excitement in their faces.  Easter is my favorite holiday.  I hope it becomes one of their favorites as well.

Dora The Explorer

Tory, Grammy and I went to Beef and Boards to see Dora The Explorer.  Dora is one of all three kids favorite shows and so they were all very excited to go!  Our first trip to Beef and Boards was to see Blue's Clues, so they kind of knew what to expect.  They each got a Rice Crispy treat and apple juice box.  I love outings with our family!

Chicks and bunny Photo shoot

I had Easter/Spring mini sessions at my house this year.  We got real baby chicks and a friend of mine let me borrow her bunny, Cookie, for the week.  Here are some pictures of the kids with the chicks, then examples of the photos I took with the animals and my kids. Alyssa didn't want her picture taken, so she wasn't in the studio ones.  The other little boy in our picture is Colton, a boy I watch on Thursdays and Fridays.  He is 6 weeks younger than Avery.  It was a crazy week, but a lot of fun!

The Flip Zone

We all headed down to the Flip Zone where they had open gym.  So many fun things to do! All the kids loved jumping on the trampoline and crawling in the foam pit. We will be going back again for more fun and adventure soon!

A day at the park

We had a great day out at the park! The kids love to throw rocks in the creek!  Alyssa likes to pick up and gather sticks.  

I love spending time with my babies and watching them enjoy the simple things.
