Christmas Eve
We spent the evening at Tyler and Trevor's house with the Murray's. We started with celebrating Alyssa's 6th birthday where she got a lot of unicorn toys. She loves unicorns! We had our gift exchange and the kids ate about 400 cookies ;) The kids left the house so excited for Santa was coming that night to their house!!
Elf on the shelf
This is the first year the kids really got into The Elf on the Shelf. I wasn't going to do it, then about a week before Christmas Alyssa came home from school and asked me where our elf's were. The next morning they appeared :) They each named their elf. Alyssa chose the name, Chippy. Ayden chose the name Zomber (because it sounded like a super hero). Avery chose the name, Wonder (from the cave of wonders on the movie Aladdin). I had a lot of fun moving the elf's each night!

Weinert Christmas
We all gathered at Grandma and Papa's house and had our Weinert gift exchange. We started a new tradition of the White Elephant gift exchange which was a lot of fun. The kids weren't too sure about people being able to take their gift after they opened it, but they were really good sports about it! I was proud. Good food and great time with family!
